WONDERLISM

Do you remember when technology was magical and not a problem? Wonderlism is a place to wonder — technology as a tool for curiosity, not extraction. Things you touch. Things that listen. Things that don’t want anything from you except a moment of your attention, freely given, and freely returned.

The internet is not a lost cause. It’s a place we forgot how to play in. We’re playing again.

The greatest invention of our lifetime — a planet-scale nervous system connecting eight billion minds — and we mostly use it to argue, to scroll, to be sold to, and to feel bad about ourselves. Somehow we built the dream and immediately started strip-mining it.

We reject what technology has become: killer drones, deepfakes, doomscrolling, rage farms, AI slop, engagement bait, dopamine traps, surveillance dressed up as “personalization”, loneliness machines, parasocial substitutes, dark patterns, crypto scams, hate amplified into algorithms, attention as a commodity, and fake news.

We believe in a different relationship with the screen: it should respond to your body, not your data. It should leave you a little more curious than it found you. Playful, surprising, useless in the best possible way — a reminder that you have a voice, a breath, hands, a tilt, a gaze. That you are not just an account.

Signals

Signals

A collage of street signals that plays itself. A light bar sweeps the grid like a sequencer head — green rings out, amber ghosts beneath it, red rests. Tap any signal to set its colour and lock it into your composition while the rest of the city keeps drifting.

8

Fovea

A heavily blurred reflection of you, with your eyes left as two sharp dots that grow and glow the wider you open them and shrink to a squint. They drive a 303 — open your eyes to sweep the filter, turn your head for resonance, blink to snap it.

30

Moiré

Two line gratings interfere into moiré fringes. The optical beat you see is the acoustic beat you hear — twist toward alignment and the fringes fall still as the tone resolves to one.

24

Triad

Tap to seed. Each seed binds to its three nearest neighbors and sings.

22

Rulewright

Draw the law, then watch it govern. Every line you make becomes a force in a tiny universe — and a voice in its choir.

18

Dothaus

A Bauhaus-flavoured grid of breathing dots. Touch and hold still — a halo widens around your finger, freezing the dots inside. Lift the spell and the trapped dots sing back on a quantised 16th-note grid. Multi-touch: each finger keeps its own field.

41

Pigmentivism

Every wavelength can be pigmented, named, swatched, and neatly put into words. The camera samples its frame and floats the dominant pigments back as plucked notes.

42

Ostinato

Your camera, captured to the beat. A grid of looping selves — each tile plays the same two seconds, started a heartbeat apart. Tap to freeze the loop.

23

Rondo

Ostinato's drifting cousin. Two seconds of your head, cut to its outline — floating selves bob across the void, each pulling a different moment of your face and plucking a note when its turn comes around. Tap to add more heads.

24

Tine

Multi-toothed rakes comb a cream zen-sand surface. Every drag leaves parallel grooves that slowly settle — the pause after a stroke is rewarded with a bell. Touch with multiple fingers for layered raking voices.

44

Aviatronic

Birdsong re-synthesized through a 303 acid synth. Toggle between raw field recordings and their acid mirror — real bird songs drive a squelchy sawtooth through reverb and delay.

77

Atoll

Tap to drop a stone in still water. Concentric topographic rings bloom outward and bend around their neighbours in a natural embrace — each press a sine partial that breathes for nine seconds before sinking back into the cream.

45

Celestial Choreography

Conduct the cosmos. Your hands draw orbits that sing back in harmonics no one composed.

52

Livström

Your face, captured and scrolled into oblivion. A steady stream of camera frames rushing upward — life passing you by. Touch to hold on.

51

Radar

Live air traffic transformed into a generative acid-techno radar scope. A 303 bass line plays itself — altitude picks the note, position shapes the filter, speed sets the rhythm. A composed 4-minute arc builds from ambient drone to full groove, with a breather that lets the acid breathe alone. Tap any flight for details, or cycle through 10 world cities.

76

Thermal Drift

16 cities, live temperature and precipitation, one drifting melody. Each city becomes a note — pitch follows heat, metallic rain percussion follows downpour. Swap cities, cycle through geographic sets, and hear the planet's weather reshape a generative composition in real time.

52

Ode to Moog

A dark analog dreamscape. Touch to spawn oscillators — drag to shape their timbre. Each voice blooms as a glowing waveform on a virtual oscilloscope.

65

Glacé

Paint and watch your strokes drift — each mark becomes a living thing.

51

Chromaphor

Your camera auto-detects 8 dominant colors and turns them into a step sequencer. Each color's hue picks its note, position shapes filters and rhythm, while atmospheric string pads drift beneath.

55

Syltestøj

Each country gets its own 303 acid step sequencer. Place beats to represent your country, then swipe through to hear what the rest of the world created.

86

Stazione di Loop

A live loop station. Tap a track to arm, speak into your mic, and your voice loops back in sync. Layer up to six vocal samples over a metronome grid — bar by bar, beat by beat.

52

Emanation

Radiating lines fan from the center like a 3D sunburst. Touch to warp the rays — waves of colour ripple through the spokes. A radial riff on curtain physics.

48

Mouth Piece

Your mouth, multiplied. Open your mouth to sing an "ahhh". Tap to spawn clones that echo your lip movements with staggered delay. Each mouth sings its own note in harmony.

60

Resonant Fibers

Pluck hanging vertical strings that split into harmonic subdivisions. Each fiber vibrates at its own frequency, warping space around it.

61

Euphonic

A deformable 3D mesh grid. Grab any point and pull — the surface rises, color floods in, pitch follows. The grid remembers your touch. Orbit to see your sculpture from every angle.

54

Spiralect

A sonic pottery wheel. Hold to throw clay — spirals grow and sing as the wheel spins. Drag to change the wheel speed. Release to let them spin free.

40

Drapes

Colourful strings hang from the top. Swipe through them — they sway, collide, and sing acid 303 notes. Where you touch changes the filter. A doorway you can play.

56

Spirographiti

Gears inside gears trace mathematical flowers. Touch to plant new ones. Drag to scatter. Each curve sings a note tuned to its geometry — the ratio of the gears determines both pattern and pitch.

38

Kamerat

Every dot is a face. Two hundred portraits reduced to pixels. Together they form one. Touch to disturb.

35

Doppler Dreams

Rays radiate from your touch and bounce off walls and dots. Frequencies shift with your motion. A sonic pinball of light and sound.

38

Viscous

Draw ribbons through invisible fluid. Thickness reveals resistance. Your strokes become instruments of drag.

34

Arco Iris

Concentric rainbow arcs layer and overlap in bold colour. Drag to aim, swirl to spin, double-tap to burst. Each band sings its own note — colour bends sound.

41

Motif

Procedural Truchet patterns. Touch to send ripples through the grid. Multi-lane arcs flip and reconnect, weaving new paths from noise-driven geometry.

40

Blæst

A 303 storm. Rain falls as dots. Your finger is the umbrella — deflect the drops, reshape their path, and warp the acid bass. The storm responds to your shelter.

40

Pathological

Fat swirly lines draw themselves into existence, twirling and layering endlessly on top of each other. A meditation on accumulation.

36

Centrifist

Drag connected dots to create centrifugal chain reactions with sound. 32 dots connected in a chain, scaling exponentially. Pull one and watch the whip.

61

Stellar Nursery

Particles drift through space, drawn together by invisible forces. Touch to create a gravity well — guide matter to collide, merge, and form new bodies. Star formation in your hands.

32

Isometric

2D parallelograms deceive the eye into seeing 3D cubes. Move across the grid to ripple through impossible geometry. Flat shapes rise and fall, collapsing the boundary between dimension and illusion.

32

Tunge

A mouth with a tongue sticking out. Grab the tongue and pull it — watch it stretch, wobble, and snap back. Minimal Bauhaus geometry. A machine for speaking, eating, and sticking out.

44

Apocalyptic Strings

12 strings vibrate with the force of your touch. Pull and release, or swipe through them all. A TB-303 resonates through the apocalypse.

34

shhhnake™

Extruding shapes follow like a jointed snake toy. Boxes morph to circles along the trail. Touch to lead the snake. A hissing 303 follows your movement.

36

REPOSE

A line is the track made by a moving point — created through the destruction of the intense self-contained repose of the point. Touch to disturb stillness and watch trails emerge.

37

Over the Edge

Push words off the edge. Drag lines of manifesto text towards the screen edges, watching letters teeter and fall with physics-based gravity. Together we push our words, our selves, off the edge.

41

Mincing Words

Interactive typographic art piece. Slice text with one finger, move pieces with two fingers, pinch to resize and rotate. Things are going to be alright.

40

Change

Every second, humans are editing Wikipedia somewhere. A real-time stream of article titles rises from the collective unconscious of human knowledge. Each glow is a person, a language, a contribution.

35

POINT

A generative art piece that uses hand gestures to control the movement of a point on the screen. The point moves in a spiral pattern, and the speed of the spiral is controlled by the speed of the hand gestures.

34

Blah

Blah. Blah. is a caffeinated late-night, interactive generative art piece that uses mouth detection to flood the canvas with text. Open your mouth, and 'blah blah blah' cascades across the screen. A playful yet critical commentary on talk, noise, and information overload.

32

Speak Up

Speak Up is an experimental web art project that transforms spoken words into a dynamic, physics-based typographic display. This interactive experience creates a unique visual representation of speech that bridges the gap between verbal communication and visual art.

35

Loopside

An interactive video grid experience. Touch and hover over the videos to leave a trail of moving images across the screen.

38

Ethereal Mirror

Your face, abstracted. Particles trace your features in real-time, creating an ethereal reflection of movement and expression.

30

Objectivism

Everything can be objectified, labelled, named, categorized, and neatly put into words.

30

Tilt

Roll your sounds. Tilt your device to control gravity and watch the balls roll. Their movement drives a TB-303 synth - speed controls the filter, position shapes the effects.

40

Q°BE

A 3D video cube you can spin. Drag to rotate and watch the videos scrub with your movement. Faster spins, faster playback.

30

Liquidity

Ambient metaball simulation with underwater soundscape. Colors blend as particles merge. Tilt to flow - movement shapes the sound.

36

The Finger

Tap your fingers to your thumb to control the TB-303. Each finger triggers a different filter effect - index for acid squelch, middle for phaser, ring for distortion, pinky for wah.

66

Tekstil

Drag and layer pattern circles to create woven textile designs. Where circles overlap, their patterns combine into something new. Double-tap to add more patterns.

27

Repulsivism

Fluid blob particles with cohesion, repulsion, and attraction. Push, pinch, and play with two hands!

38

The Simple Life

LIFE IS SO SIMPLE. Slide the letters to unscramble the phrase. Tap the period to rewind.

32

Seismic Sounds

Live earthquake data from USGS, sonified in real-time. Each seismic event becomes a tone — magnitude shapes pitch, depth shapes color. The earth speaks if you listen.

48

Inflection

A living waveform you can pull, stretch, and shape with your hands. The sound follows your touch.

33

Phase

A grid of metronomes drifts out of sync. Touch resyncs a cluster. Steve Reich on a Swiss poster.

16

Artificial Throat

A typographic poem machine. Drop words onto a blank field — drag them around, and each is sung in a Speak & Spell voice synthesised live. Up is high, down is low, left plays first.

18

Umbra Theory

A room of invisible sculptures revealed only by their shadows. Drag the sun across the sky and listen as silhouettes sing their hidden geometries.
